Quick Answer
Fulshear exteriors are new Hardie in open sun. Warm greige and warm white are the 2026 defaults. Cool gray and bright white chalk on the west wall first. Cross Creek and the newer Fulshear sections require an approved chip. A typical 2,500 sq ft two-story repaint or first repaint runs about $5,500–$9,000. Call (346) 594-5960.
A lot of Fulshear houses are on their first repaint. The factory or builder coat lasted 6–8 years and the west side went first. That is normal. It is not a siding failure.
What we are putting on
- Body: warm greige, sometimes a deeper greige on two-story to hide butt joints
- Trim: warm white, not Chantilly Lace bright
- Door: black, navy, or a deep green if the board allows an accent
- Brick accents: left alone unless already painted
Sage works on the few wooded lots. On a wide-open street it can look like a faded shutter. Look at the chip on the actual west wall before you approve it.
Cost and timing
Fall is the right window — October and November — before the next hard summer on a fresh film. (More on the best time to paint in Houston.) Pricing matches our Hardie exterior table: $1.50–$4 per sq ft of floor area.

Frequently Asked Questions
What colors are HOAs approving in Fulshear?
Warm neutrals. Submit the code. Do not copy a 2019 house and assume it is still legal.
Is the fading on my west wall a bad paint job?
Usually it is age plus sun. A repaint with 100% acrylic and recaulked joints resets the clock.
