Where we started
Years of Houston humidity and a few clogged gutters had rotted long runs of fascia and several soffit panels. Paint was peeling around the worst areas, and the owners worried the damage was spreading into the roof structure.
Our Approach
How we did it
- 1
Assess & source moisture
We probed all suspect wood, identified the full extent of the rot, and traced the moisture to failed gutter sections.
- 2
Replace damaged wood
Rotted fascia and soffit boards were removed and replaced with primed, rot-resistant material, matched to the existing profiles.
- 3
Correct the cause
We addressed the drainage issue and re-sealed joints so water is directed away from the wood — preventing the rot from returning.
- 4
Prime & repaint
New and existing trim was primed, caulked, and painted to a seamless match so the repair is invisible from the street.
